NECK LIFTING
This surgery restores the suspension of the musculature of the platysma (muscle of the neck) and pulls the skin upward. An incision is made from the superior part of the ear to the scalp, lifting the skin of the neck and eliminating the excess. The result makes the neck smoother and it returns the jaw outline, eliminating the flaccid aspect resulting from the skin excess.
If there is also fat accumulation, a liposuction is performed simultaneously. The scars are not apparent and the surgical recovery is fast.
A swelling of the face exists for some weeks; a local lymphatic drainage is indicated for a faster recovery. The definitive aspect will only appear after 3 months.
